The latest from Andre Harris on his Innate Soul digital label hearkens back a bit with a spoken word vocal reminiscent of Phuture. The vocal could go over well among a gay crowd or voguers and though it bears no structural similarity, it reminded me for some reason of Grand High Priest’s “Mary Mary” – I could easily see one following the other in a set of harder, more underground selections. A good bouncy beat solidifies this track beneath what sounds like a tweaked out 303. An instrumental dub, acapella, two alternate mixes and a track of beats round out the remixes.
