News about Daft Punk’s forthcoming Random Access Memories – at this point, the most anticipated album in electronic music since… probably the last Daft Punk album – continues to dribble out. After the first release announcing Giorgio Moroder’s collaboration on RAM, today Thomas Bangalter Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo gave word that the album will contain a collaboration with Todd Edwards:

5 Mag’s Czarina Mirani interviewed Todd in the print issue of 5 Magazine last November; he mentioned then his previous collaboration with Daft Punk, “Face to Face”:

I get more requests for vocals. A lot of people didn’t realize I did the vocals for the song “Face to Face” on the Daft Punk album. I never considered myself a vocalist because when I was younger I used to sing all the time in high school and I had some friends tease me about it so I got discouraged and just focused on production. And the only reason I stopped was because I let someone else’s opinion influence me.

Random Access Memories is due out May 21, 2013; preorders are now being taken on iTunes and other digital shops.
