Chicago House legend Paul Johnson has announced a tour for the latter half of 2016, focusing on his Dance Mania and Relief Records’ material.

Paul made his Dance Mania debut with A Nite Life Thang (1994) and probably did more than anyone to establish the raw and sometimes raunchy Ghetto House sound that characterized Dance Mania’s second and most prolific period in the late 1990s. Fueled by classy reissues (many of which are making accessible records priced strictly into the collector’s market for the last 10 years), the Dance Mania sound has earned a new generation of disciples and aficionados.

Paul is available for the “Dance Mania x Relief Special” booking for the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2016. “Expect a Dance Mania x Relief night like no other where Paul Johnson will play all classics, edits and spectacular new material.”
