For a Good Cause: In Memory of Kenny Hawkes

In memory of Kenny Hawkes, several of his friends are reaching out to raise money for the British Liver Trust, the “only charity in the UK dedicated to helping everyone affected by a liver condition through support, information and research”. Hawkes died of liver failure a year ago last June.

Luke Solomon, who dedicated this track on Classic Music Co to Kenny, writes:

You may or may not know that it would have been Kenny’s birthday tomorrow.

1 year ago we held a benefit at East Village which included a lot of music played by a lot of Kenny’s friends.

Stuart Patterson recorded the entire evening.

As part of an incentive to raise money for a good cause we have included some of this music from the night.

Once your donation has been made you will receive a link for the download

All who donate to this fundraiser in Kenny’s memory will receive private links to download mixes from the night. Once again, that link is at justgiving.com.
