And you thought festivals were only summer fare? After 7 years of a highly successful Halloween event, the good folks at React have expanded their Freaky Deaky party into a 3 day festival at a new home, the massive Toyota Park. If you’ve been to any of their festivals earlier this year, namely Spring Awakening or Mamby on the Beach, you know that they go full out with their interactive experience. This time there will be 3 stages filled with over 75 artists. And with an expected 75,000 in attendance, it should come as no surprise that this has been unmatched in size by any other Halloween event.
The comprehensive lineup covers all the bases over the 3 day Halloween weekend (October 30, October 31 and November 1 2015), with not just electronica but Hip-Hop as well. The major headliners are comprised of Armin Van Buuren, 2 Chainz, Bassnectar and Carnage to name a few, but there are also names that will have the House fans dancing such as Justin Martin, Hannah Wants, Pete Tong and The Magician. They will also be curating themed SCARY STAGES hosted by DJs Richie Hawtin, Markus Schulz and Gesaffelstein (DJ Set.)
And this being Halloween, you can expect the most elaborate of decor, carnival rides, games, haunted houses, graveyards and a host of characters wandering the grounds.
