CZARINA MIRANI (aka Czboogie)

Born in the Philippines to a Filipina mother and Indian father, I moved to the States and attended Northwestern University majoring in Theater. I wanted to be an actress and did films, TV, commercials and modeling for 15 years. Then I went back to dancing professionally full time and even formed my own dance company called Fivestarboogie Dancers. We’ve done many shows over the years and continue to do lots of club gigs. In August of 2005 I began 5 Magazine and House music has now become my full time job

I throw lots of parties around Chicago.  Currently I have residencies at Smartbar (Every 3rd Wednesday) as well as the legendary Boom Boom Room (rotating dates.)  I am also part of The Untouchable DJs made up of Farley Jackmaster Funk, Paul Johnson, Gene Hunt, Craig Alexander, Boxx and myself.  If you’d like to keep up with all the many events coming up, please friend me on my Facebook and Twitter pages.
